Hip Hop/House/Work it Out Open Level

This mash-up class will be geared to introduce dancers to two uplifting and very different styles.

The Hip Hop component will integrate party dances and music of the 80′s and 90′s to the present day and explore choreography and across-the-floor grooves. Prepare to move and get funky and work your brain-body connection.  House Dance is a style of dance that originated in the late 70’s and early 80’s from underground clubs in Chicago and New York. It reflects and comes from club music known as House, which evolved out of the disco era.  House dance emphasizes fast and complex footwork combined with fluid movements in the torso.
This class will make you bounce, sweat and feel freaky, funky fine. We will add layers of speed and complexity as the weeks go by.

It will be a full-body cardio workout with a strengthening component. Get ready to work hard.
