HipHop Open Level 13yrs+

This HipHop class will integrate party dances of the 80′s and 90′s to the present day, as well as choreography, across-the-floor combos, and the latest dance moves that make this dance unique. It includes a wide range of styles and will be a good time moving to great music. Prepare to move and get funky, and dance hard. Open to all levels of experience, so if you are new or have danced hip hop before, this class will make you bounce and rock no matter what, layers will be offered to build complexity for those with more experience.

  A four-time national jump rope champion who went on to compete at international level, Angelia has always been inspired by movement. She has a long history of dance training in all styles, her most loved being Hip Hop. Along with her love of movement, music has always been a passion of hers, whether it is writing and producing her own songs, or sharing her favourite musical artists on her Kootenay Co-op Radio Show. Angelia is an advocate for the arts in the community, and her goal of igniting a passion for the arts is always at the forefront, whether through her work at the Capitol Theatre as a Stage Manager for the Summer Youth Theatre Productions or teaching through guitar.
